She moved to Los Angeles, California in 1993 to get into the hardcore porn industry. She took her stage name on a play on the name of the 36th President of the United States, Lyndon Baines Johnson. Lynden started out by starring in big-bust specialty videos like 'Big Bust Babes #14' and 'Bra Busters #02, before appearing in more hardcore sex features.
