Tanaseth Tulyathan

Tanaseth Tulyathan is an independent director, producer, and writer from Bangkok, Thailand, whose work explores displacement and the search for belonging through marginalized and underrepresented communities. He graduated from the Ross School in New York (2018) and earned a BFA in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design (2022). Tanaseth’s debut narrative short film, Morlam, premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival, and Vancouver Asian Film Festival. He is currently in post-production on two short films: Four Silver Bars, which he directs (Thai Film Archive Short Film Grant), and Anastomose, directed by Thaweechok Phasom, on which he co-produces (SGIFF Short Film Fund, Purin Short Film Fund, and Thai Film Archive Short Film Grant). He is also developing his debut feature, The Chameleon Woman, selected for the Asian Project Market (BIFF), Asian Project Pitching (BKKIFF), PAS SEA (Festival of the 3 Continents), and the TIFF Director Lab.
