Michele Lupo
Born on December 4, 1932, in Corleone, Sicily, Michele Lupo began his career in the film industry as an assistant director. He made his directorial debut with Maciste il gladiatore più forte del mondo (1962), marking the start of a prolific career. Lupo directed 23 films between 1962 and 1982, spanning various genres including peplum, westerns, and comedies. Notable works include Goliath and the Sins of Babylon (1963), The Master Touch (1972), and Buddy Goes West (1981). He frequently collaborated with actor Bud Spencer, contributing to the popularity of Italian action-comedy films. Lupo passed away on June 27, 1989, in Rome, Italy.
